Spurs striker Richarlison could be fit in time for midweek derby clash with Arsenal
Richarlison has not played for Spurs since sustaining a hamstring injury in the 4-1 win over Aston Villa on November 3 last year.
The 27-year-old striker suffered a calf problem at ยูฟ่าเบท the start of the season, limiting him to just seven appearances in all competitions this season, starting just one of them and coming on as a substitute.
The former Everton striker has return to training. While Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is hopeful. He could be fit to face Arsenal in the crucial north London derby on Wednesday.
“Everything is going well, we expect him to be available for next week’s game against Arsenal,” Postecoglou said.
Meanwhile, Spurs are reportedly in talks to loan Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Mouhani for the second half of this season.
When Richarlison was available last season, there were small glimpses of his quality. Which suggeste he could fit Postecoglou’s system perfectly. He scored eight goals in nine league games between December 2023 and January 2024.
Richarlison primarily plays centrally but could offer Postecoglou an alternative option on the left wing to Son Heung-Min. And Timo Werner who have both underperformed this season.
